Arthur Hallenbeck, 60, of Bull Hill Rd., Newfield, died Thursday, January 10, 2013 at his home. He was born in Hudson, NY, son of the late Claude and Charlotte Parlman Hallenbeck. He was a machinist at Hilliard Corporation in Elmira. Arthur is survived by his wife, Wanda Hallenbeck; his step-son, Sean Bergquist; sisters, Carol (Rick) Davis and Susan (Walter) Welch and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also predeceased by his brother, Gary Hallenbeck. A celebration of Arthur's life will be held on Saturday, January 12 at 4 p.m. at the People's Baptist Church, 364 Main St., Newfield, NY 14867. Donations in his memory may be made to the church at the above address.
