Barbara Clark Stewart

Former Canandaigua resident Barbara Clark Stewart, age 91, died on April 8, 2019 in Ithaca, New York. She was preceded by her husband of 65 years, Roy C. Stewart, and by her son Chip and her daughter Norma/Nickie. Barbara is survived by her three children (Linda, Marcia, and Gary) and their families, including five grandchildren and two great grandchildren, as well as by her sister Ginny and her three brothers (Bill, Scott, and Louis). Barbara Stewart loved swimming, playing bridge, dancing, eating cookies, sitting by the water (either beach or pool) with a book, and, most importantly, spending time with her family. She was an incredibly loving mother, a devoted wife, and an all-round fantastic person. Her death leaves a major hole in her loved ones’ lives. A private service will be held this summer
