Deborah Carlison, age 78 of Ithaca, New York, passed away on September 15, 2026 surrounded by her family. Born on August 24, 1948, she was the beloved daughter of the late Samuel and Katherine Panato.

Deborah is survived by her loving husband of sixty-one years Michael Carlison; her son Michael (Kristen) Carlison Jr.; her daughter, Melissa (Kevin) Jacobs; her granddaughters Melinda (Matthew) McGill, Brianna Jacobs and Jordan Jacobs; her grandson Kevin (Jade) Jacobs II and her great-grandson, Lincoln Jacobs; her sisters, Darlene Panato and Denise Bassile; and her nephews.

In keeping with Deborah’s lifelong example of compassion and generosity, there will be no formal services. The family asks that those who wish to honor her memory do so through great acts of kindness and gratitude, just as she always did.
