John B. Barsotti, MD, MBA, 68, of 106 Eastwood Ave. Ithaca, died at home Sunday August 24, 2014, due to complications of Progressive Supranuclear Palsey (PSP) a neurodegenerative brain disease.
Son of the late Edith Lorraine and Marco Paul Barsotti, John was a Neuro-Radiologist at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY and taught continuing medical education courses for physicians and radiologic technologists.
He leaves his wife, Donna Miller of nine years and her daughter, Rebecca Green, husband Paul Rauen, Grandchildren, Teddy and Bay Rauen and her son, Matthew Green and wife Laura Baran.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to PSP Foundation at www.curepsp.org.
The family will receive friends at John and Donna's home at 106 Eastwood Ave. Ithaca on Friday August 29, 2014 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M.
