Joyce A. Moore

Joyce A. Muzzy Moore, age 91, lifelong resident of Danby, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.  Mrs. Moore was born October 24, 1929 to Esther May and Frederick Fillmore Muzzy. Joyce was a 1947 graduate of Ithaca High School. On June 5, 1949 Joyce was married to Richard Post Moore.  They raised their three sons and were active in the Danby Federated Church.  She retired after working 25 years at Cornell University  Joyce enjoyed the birds and flowers in her yard and the fact that she was the last surviving Muzzy on Muzzy Road. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she will be greatly missed by her family.
