Kathleen (Gregg) O’Rourke, of Pahokee, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2026, following a courageous, lengthy battle with Polycystic Kidney Disease and subsequent multi-organ failure.

Kathy was born on January 23, 1963, in Ithaca, New York, and attended school in both the Trumansburg and Ithaca School Districts. After dedicating many years to raising her family as a homemaker, she pursued higher education at Tompkins Cortland Community College and SUNY Cortland. Throughout her life, Kathy worked as a dedicated waitress for many years and also enjoyed her time working in local radio within the Ithaca area.

In 2018, Kathy relocated to Florida with hopes of restoring her health. Until her hospitalization, she resided with her son Marcus, his significant other Elizabeth, and their daughter Madison. Above all else, spending cherished time with her granddaughter brought her true joy.

Kathy is survived by her four children: Alicia Wheaton (Ben), Vanessa Fuller, Marcus Gregg (Elizabeth), and Kris O’Rourke; two grandchildren, Ezra Wheaton and Madison Gregg; and her siblings, Bill Gregg, Mary Gregg, and Laurie Moore (Mike). She was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara (Gates) and Richard Gregg of Enfield, and her brother, Ronald Gregg of Candor.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor and remember Kathy.
