KRISTINA W. PERIALAS

ITHACA – Kristina Perialas, 70, of Ithaca, NY, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025. She was born in Rochester, NY on January 11, 1955. Kris was raised by her mother, Ellen O’Bryan, and her stepfather, the late William O’Bryan.

Krissy, as she was fondly called, earned an associate degree in social work from Corning Community College. For many decades, she served as the property manager and bookkeeper for the Perialas family’s real estate businesses, including VALEX Talent Agency and Pyramid Sound. Kris was one of the pillars upon which the family’s success was built. In her spare time, Kris loved reading Stephen King novels, collecting first editions, and visiting local bookstores. She was an avid crossword solver, an adept crocheter, and a master of the jigsaw puzzle. Those of us who knew and loved her will always remember her witty and wonderfully dry sense of humor.

Kris is survived by her loving husband, Alex Perialas; her brothers, Kerry and Kurt Wittig; her sister-in-law, Valerie Perialas (Jenny Crabtree); niece, Melissa Littlefield (Spencer Schaffner); nephews, Jonathan Littlefield (Sheila), Marshall Wittig, Andrew Wittig (Danielle) and Marshall’s mother, Susie Tucker.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 10 am until 12 noon at Bangs Funeral Home, 209 W. Green St, Ithaca with a graveside service to follow at Lake View Cemetery.
