Lasalle “Sal” Hargrove

Lasalle “Sal” Hargrove, born on May 25, 1991, passed away on September 24, 2026. He will be remembered with deep love by those who knew him as Sal—a beloved son, father, brother, nephew, cousin, friend, artist, musician, and protector.

Sal’s life was marked by the many roles he held in the hearts of others. He was cherished not only for his presence, but for the care and strength he brought to his family and loved ones. As an artist and musician, he expressed himself in ways that left a lasting impression, and as a protector and friend, he offered loyalty, warmth, and love to those closest to him.

He is survived by his mother, Nikki Hargrove; his daughters, Destiny and Naomi; his brothers, DJ, Allahvelle, and Deiariia; his aunts, Lawaysha, Shena, and Kianna; and his cousin Brooklynn. He is also lovingly remembered by his cousin Brooklynn, who shared an especially close and loving bond with him and regarded him as far more than a cousin.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on October 1, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Bangs Funeral Home, 209 W Green St, Ithaca, New York 14850.

Sal’s memory will live on in the love of his family, in the lives of his daughters, and in the many ways he touched those around him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
