Lawrence "Larry" Iacovelli

Lawrence, or Larry as most people knew him, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2025. Larry was born on March 24, 1937 at home in Ithaca, New York.

Larry was the owner of Iacovelli Brothers Construction from 1970- 2020 and also ran L.T. Iacovelli Rental Properties.

Larry will be most remembered for his family. To Larry this was his foremost achievement. His happiest times were at his house making his family Sunday Dinner cooking his sauce while drinking his wine.

Lawrence was predeceased by his parents Vincenzo and Ruth Iacovelli, his in-laws Jack and Beverly Schindo, his brothers Joseph, Albert, Paul, and James. His sister-in-laws Bessie Iacovelli, Anastasia Iacovelli, Virginia Iacovelli, Helen Iacovelli, and Wanda Schindo, and his brother-in-laws Johnnie Schindo and Donald Seacord, as well as his grandson Temuchin Schindo.

Lawrence E. Iacovelli is survived by his wife Trinna Lee Iacovelli and his five sons: Lawrence (Cheryl) Iacovelli, Martin (Orlina) Iacovelli, Mark (Sara) Iacovelli, Jeffery (Sally) Iacovelli, and Larry J. (Susan) Iacovelli. He is also survived by his brothers Orlando Iacovelli and Ralph (Roxanne) Iacovelli, his sister Virginia Seacord, and his sister-in-laws Nancy Iacovelli and Antoinette Iacovelli.

He is survived by his grandchildren: Lisa Iacovelli, Crissy Iacovelli, Elizabeth (Brian)Parker, Hunter (Nellie) Schindo, Michael (Michelle) Toscano, Dr. Stephanie (Dylan) Iacovelli, Cole (Krystina) Iacovelli, Alec (Erika) Iacovelli, Julian Iacovelli, Sophia Iacovelli, and Lydia Iacovelli.

Great-great grandchildren include Samantha Parker, Zachary Parker, Alexis Parker, Wes Iacovelli, Clark Schindo, and Theo Iacovelli.

A private family gathering is all dad wanted, with his ashes spread on his property. All of his animals came right up on the porch next to the window where dad sat everyday offering their love and affection, which gave him great peace.
