Margaret S. Feges of Brooktondale and formerly of Chicago, passed away Monday, June 01, 2015 at the Cayuga Medical Center. She was the widow of John Feges who died in 1994.

Margaret was raised in Burnside, IL and worked at Walgreen's in her early years. She later retired from Penn Central Railroad in Chicago where she had worked for over 25 years. Following retirement she worked at The Cookie Factory and Big Apple Bagels in Orland Park, IL. She was an active member of Faith United Church of Christ in Hammond, IN and attended Trinity Lutheran Church on Honness Lane after relocating to Brooktondale to live with her daughter.

A loving wife, mother and sister, Margaret is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Geraldine "Geri" Margaret and Andrew "Rick" Anderson of Brooktondale; her sister, Marie Lait; her nephews, Ben Sachs, James Lait and Edward Timm and family and her niece, Judy Peters and her family, Amanda and Addison Massonet. In addition to her beloved husband, John, she was also predeceased by brothers, Frank and Benjamin Lizak who both died during World War II and her sister, Barbara Wilson.

A celebration of Margaret's life will be held on Monday, June 08, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Rob Foote officiating. Private interment will be held in Chapel Hill Gardens, Worth, IL. Donations in Margaret's memory may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Hospicare of Tompkins County. Arrangements are by the Bangs Funeral Home.
