Marshall Truman Martin

Marshall Truman Martin, 90, of Ithaca, NY, died November 15, 2025.

Born August 11, 1935, in Ithaca, NY to William (Bill) Martin, of Canada and Rose Hall of Syracuse; Mashall is the youngest of eight; his siblings who all preceded Marshall included Jack, Lorenzo, Wallace, Corea, Rod, Winfred, and Larry. Marshall worked in Ithaca as a small engine mechanic for thirteen years at the Valley Fix-It Shop then bought a farm in Gouverneur, NY were he retired; he was an avid outdoorsman and had a passion for gardening; Marshall married and was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Barbara Knight, 65, in 2003; Together they raised 5 children; Mark, Angela, Robert, Michael, and Christine.

Marshall is survived by his son, Robert; daughter, Christine; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00-6:00PM on Thursday, November 20th at Bangs Funeral Home, 209 W. Green St., Ithaca, NY 14850.
