Patricia A. Deeb

Patricia A. Deeb, 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 10, 2015 with her loving family at her bedside. She was born in Ithaca, daughter of the late Patrick and Thelma Brewer Bucci.

Patti is survived by her husband of 57 years, Richard L. Deeb; her son and daughter in law, Michael and Kathleen Deeb; daughter and son in law, Debra and Eric Hartz and her granddaughter, Kassandra Hartz and her fiancé, Ryan Meigs. She is also survived by her in laws, Shirley and Fred Stone and Linda and Ron Kemp and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Patti retired from Cornell University in 1998 following 41 years of service. She continued working on a part time basis for the University in different departments for ten years following her retirement. She was an avid golfer and gardener and loved spending the past 15 winters with Dick in New Port Richey, FL.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will follow at the East Lawn Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Patti's memory may be made to the SPCA, 1640 Hanshaw Rd., Ithaca, NY 14850 or to Hospicare, 172 E. King Rd., Ithaca, NY 14850. Bangs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
