Royal Nairn Murray

Royal Nairn Murray, 76 of Zephyrhills passed away June 7, 2016. Royal was of the Catholic faith, an Army veteran, and a member of the Construction Labor Union of Ithaca, NY. He enjoyed playing horseshoes, softball, and euchre and was a member of the Ithaca VFW, the Moose, Eagles, American Legion, and Zephyrhills Elks Lodge. Royal is survived by his wife, Kathleen; stepmother, Lorraine (Gil) Houston of Ithaca, NY; three sisters, Catherine (Cliff) Arthur, Lynn (Gene) Moore, and Barbara (Vern) Fenton; two brothers, Robert (Tracey) Murray and Tom (Colleen) Murray; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by parents, Nairn and Dorothy Murray, and brothers, Joe and Gerald Murray. Services will be held at a later date in Ithaca, NY. Whitfield Funeral Home. A celebration of Royal's life will be held Wednesday July 27, 2016 at 6:00 P.M. at Bangs Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Ford officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. prior to the celebration.
