Sharon Bennett, age 74 of Enfield, NY passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca.
Born March 22, 1947 in Ithaca, NY she was the daughter of the late Jack and Louise Thomas Rivers and wife of the late JR Bennett. Sharon had been employed as a CNA at Lakeside Nursing Home.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Robert) Oliver of Trumansburg; two grandsons, Tyler Arden and Nicholas (Ashleigh) Arden; two great grandchildren, Aubryanna Arden and Gabriel Arden; sister, Jackie Newhart; brother, Roland Rivers and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Charles and Billy Rivers and sisters, Sandy Williamson and Judy White.
Friends are invited to call from 2-4 pm, Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Bangs Funeral Home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Calvary Cemetery, Ithaca. Online condolences at www.bangsfuneralhome.com
