Shirley Ann Struble

With broken hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Shirley Ann Personius Struble. Shirley, age 65, of Ithaca, NY passed away peacefully at Beechtree Rehabilitation Center in Ithaca, NY in the early morning of Saturday, January 10, 2026. 

Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She deeply cared for her family and friends and was like a mother to her younger siblings Linda and Michael. Shirley frequently hosted family meals and always welcomed others into her home. She generously shared what she had with anyone in need, always remembering the little personal details that made you feel special to her. 

Shirley loved to cook, enjoy good food, craft, read, listen to music (she was Donny Osmond’s #1 fan!), garden, and write novels. She had a deep faith in Jesus Christ and was a beloved member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. We will deeply miss her beautiful smile, great sense of humor, her laugh and good conversation. 

Shirley was born in Ithaca, NY and graduated from Brooktondale Baptist high school and Tompkins Cortland Community College. 

She is predeceased by her soulmate Timothy Struble. Shirley is survived by her one and only precious daughter, Christa Yennie, her grandson, MJ Clarke, her grandpup Maggie, and by her sister Linda Smith, brother Michael Smith, and other extended family members. 

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 1pm at the LDS church located at 114 Burleigh Drive, Ithaca, NY. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
