W. Bernard VanOrman, 80, of Newfield, NY passed away surrounded by his son and loving family the evening of August 24th, 2025, at Cayuga Medical Center.

Bernie was born on May 5th, 1945, to Ray and Emma (Kinsman) VanOrman. He grew up alongside his four siblings whom he loved dearly: Ray (JoAnna) VanOrman, Nanette (Wayne) Butler, Terrel (Pam) VanOrman and baby sister, Alice (Robert) Nash. In addition to his parents, Bernie was predeceased by his wife JoAnn and siblings Ray, Nanette and Terrel.

Calling hours will be held at Bangs Funeral Home on Saturday September 6th, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
