William C. Lelik

William C. Lelik (Billy), 64, of Ithaca NY, unexpectedly passed away on April 7th 2023 at Cayuga Medical Center. 

Billy was born on December 12th 1958 to Kathleen McCarthy and William J. Lelik in Ithaca, NY . After attending Ithaca High School, he went on to work at Ithaca Gun Company, Construction work with Mark and Rick Pace, joined the Local Labors Union 789 and traveled with Schnabel Foundation, followed by Cornell University where he retired. Anyone who worked with Billy knows he was a dedicated hard worker. 

Billy was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and camping with his friends and family. You would always find a smile on his face when company would stop by, especially his grandkids. During his retirement he enjoyed fishing on the lake with his buddies. Billy was always willing to lend a hand for any help a loved one needed. Billy will be remembered for his quick wit, and sharing his wide variety of talents and skills. 

Billy was predeceased by his mother Kathleen Hallen (McCarthy), and his sister Tammy Martellaro. Billy is survived by his spouse Terri Reyna of 34 years, father William J. Lelik, children Lauren (Jack) Carpenter, Matthew Ferrara, and Merissa Lelik, siblings Kevin Lelik, Patricia (Al) DeJoseph, Mark Lelik, and Eric Lelik, grandchildren Ezra Ferrara, Lyla Carpenter, Giacamo Carpenter, Ellie Ferrara, Brynnleigh Woodard and Maizelynn Woodard, Best Friend John (Bo) Sepos, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Calling hours will be Saturday April 22nd, 2023 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Bangs Funeral Home, 209 W. Green Street, Ithaca, NY followed by a service at 1:30 pm.
